Dorough Landscape has been in business for 45 years. Doug Dorough and his company are very well known throughout the landscaping industry as well as the residential and commercial communities in the Metro Atlanta area.

Dorough Landscape Company has won many landscape & maintenance awards over the years for outstanding service, beautiful designs and gardens.
Mr. Dorough was one of the original founding trustees for the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
He has been a guest speaker and given lectures at high schools, colleges, universities, flower shows, garden clubs and other civic organizations on the subjects of landscape design and landscape maintenance.
He has had regular tours of his gardens at his last home. His work has been featured in the Sandy Springs Tour of Gardens.
Mr. Dorough was selected as the "Best Garden Designer" for the city of Atlanta.
Dorough Landscape and Mr. Dorough have been in several well-known magazines and newspapers.
Mr. Dorough holds degrees from both Columbus State University and Auburn University.
Mr. Dorough has been a member of such organizations as the Georgia Green Industry Association, Landscape Contractors of America, American Society of Landscape Architects, Royal Horticulture Society of England, Midtown Business Men's Association, the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, the Greater Atlanta Nursery Association, MALTA, ALCA, Atlanta Apartment Association and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
He has also held office in the following positions:
